CANFIELD

Feb. 1

Drug abuse: A 50-year-old East Palestine man was arrested at Lisbon Street and the square on charges of drug abuse and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Feb. 3

Theft: A resident of the 50 block of Pinecrest Drive reported a UPS-delivered medication was stolen off the front porch of his home.

Feb. 2

Menacing: A man is a suspect of menacing at Wal-Mart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.

Possible theft: A 1993 Kawasaki was dropped off for repairs but the business was later found to be closed at Elites Cycles, 4720 Mahoning Ave.

Misuse of credit card: Unauthorized purchases were made of $438.86 at Wal-Mart.

Misuse of credit card: A credit card was used without authorization in the state Route 46 and Interstate 80 area of Austintown.

Burglary: DVD players, jewelry and groceries were stolen from an apartment in the 4000 block of Westchester Drive.

Fraud: Unauthorized transactions were reported on a debit card at a home in the 3000 block of Rebecca Drive.

Telecommunications harassment: At a home in the 70 block of Carnegie Ave.

Lost or stolen registrations: Three vehicle registrations were reported lost or stolen at Fyda Freightliner, 5260 Seventy-Six Drive.

Theft: A woman took $213.71 in assorted merchandise at K-Mart, 4475 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: Compact discs were taken by a juvenile at Wal-Mart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.

Telephone harassment: At a home in the 1000 block of Elvira Court.

Theft: Candy bars were stolen at Sheetz gas station, 5499 Mahoning Ave.

Breaking and entering: Three men were arrested for breaking into the old Austintown Middle School building, 5800 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: A wallet was stolen from a truck at the Pilot truck lot, 1150 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Identity theft: A sister took here sister’s information and obtained utility service at a home in the 20 block of N. Four Mile Run Road.

Burglary: Jewelry was reported missing at a home in the 4000 block of Rhode Island Drive.

Theft: Miscellaneous tools were stolen from a truck in the parking lot at the Comfort Inn, 5425 Clarkins Drive.

Theft: A 2008 box trailer was stolen from Premier Maintenance, 5204 Mahoning Ave.

Misuse of credit card: Eight unauthorized charges were made on a credit card owned by the resident at a home in the 70 block of Kenmar Court.

Theft: A man and a boy were arrested for theft at Wal-Mart.

Burglary: At a home in the 1000 block of Carnegie Avenue.

Telecommunications harassment: At an apartment in the 1000 block of Compass West apartments.

Liquor violations: Liquor allegedly was sold to minors at Rumors Lounge, 104 N. Meridian Road.

Liquor violation: Liquor allegedly was sold to minors at Split Level, 169 S. Four Mile Run Road.

Liquor violation: Liquor allegedly was sold to minors at BW-3, 6000 Mahoning Ave.

Recovered property: Two Ohio license plates were recovered at Denny’s Restaurant, 4927 Mahoning Ave.

Recovered property: A Taurus .357 Magnum revolver was recovered at Sleep Inn, 5555 Interstate Boulevard.

Theft: A man was issued a summons for theft at K-Mart, 4475 Mahoning Ave.

Assault: A man spit in an employee’s face at Wendy’s, 27 S. Raccoon Road.

Feb. 8

Drug offense: A Mineral Ridge woman was issued a summons for drug abuse of marijuana at S. Edgehill Avenue and Westgate Boulevard.

Menacing by stalking: A woman reported being stalked by a man at an apartment in the 4000 block of Nantucket Boulevard.

Drug offense: A Hubbard man was issued a summons for possession of marijuana on S. Meridian Road.

Criminal damaging: Three tires on a vehicle were slashed in the 2000 block of Westminster Avenue.
