Stambaugh Auditorium to be site of Heart Ball

YOUNGSTOWN — Stambaugh Auditorium will be the setting for the American Heart Association’s 2009 Heart Ball from 6 to 11 p.m. March 7. Proceeds from the black-tie event will be used to combat heart disease and stroke.

During the evening, Dr. Felix A. Pesa, of Humility of Mary Health Partners, will receive the 2009 Cardiac Service Award, and the Rev. Donald King, pastor of Blessed Sacrament Church in Warren, will be the recipient of the 2009 Heart of Community Award. There will also be live and silent auctions, dinner, and dancing.
