Reopening of Princess Street in Campbell expected by dark

CAMPBELL — Repairs on a 10-inch main sanitary sewer line that collapsed on Princess Street are expected to be completed by dark today, said Bill Coleman at the Mahoning County Sanitary Engineer’s Office. The street, which was closed between Ridge and Robinson roads, will be reopened then. Coleman said the pipe collapsed on Saturday and a temporary repair was made then. He said there is some difficulty reaching the pipe, 16 feet of which must be replaced, because of banks of melting snow around the area.
