Huntington Bank to open new Wedgewood branch

AUSTINTOWN — Huntington Bank will open its new Wedgewood branch at 1732 S. Raccoon Road on Feb. 17. The office includes four drive-up lanes, a drive-up ATM and night depository. It also will feature services such as business banking, investments, and mortgage and consumer lending.

Callos Companies attains workers’ comp honor

BOARDMAN — The Callos Companies said it has been awarded workers’ compensation risk certification by Risk Control Services. The certification recognizes staffing companies that practice “best-in-class” risk management to reduce workplace injuries and related costs.

Callos is one of five staffing agencies to attain certification in Ohio, Pennsylvania and Kentucky. Nationwide, 110 staffing companies have the certification.

To be certified, a staffing company must undergo an audit to review operational practices for hiring and screening, substance abuse, talent matching, employee orientation and client safety evaluations.
