Struthers 62, Lakeview 37

STRUTHERS — Helen Hird scored 18 points, made six steals and pulled down seven rebounds as the Wildcats clinched their first title since 1989. Dana Mathews scored 15 points for Struthers (13-5, 7-0 All-American Conference White). Katelyn Ardale scored seven points and made 10 assists. Casey Watson scored 11 points for the Bulldogs (4-14, 1-6).

Newton Falls 59, LaBrae 42

LEAVITTSBURG — Destiny Prusky scored 22 points and Kelsey McGregor netted 21 as the Tigers clinched first place in the AAC Blue Tier. The Tigers (15-3, 9-0) outrebounded the Vikings, 40-21. For the Vikings (2-14, 0-7), Emily Potter scored 18 points and Bayle Boggs 13. Julie Gibson made six assists while Courtney Aldridge made seven of the Vikings’ 20 rebounds.

Howland 47, Conneaut 27

HOWLAND — After trailing in the first quarter, Howland outscored Conneaut 20-4 in the second quarter and rolled to its 17th straight victory. The Tigers (17-0) were led by Taylor Williams with 16 points and eight rebounds. Erika Nites added 14 points and four steals. Jessica Wilson had four assists. Conneaut (10-9) was led by Justine Vancise with nine points and nine rebounds.

Canfield 67, Niles 18

CANFIELD — Jillian Halfhill scored 15 points for the Cardinals (11-7, 5-2 AAC Red). Anohka Padubidri scored 12 points while Kalie Luklan netted 10.

Salem 45, Poland 34

POLAND — Amy Scullion scored 19 points and Brittney Ritchie 15 to lead Salem. The Quakers (13-3, 5-2 AAC Red) took control of the game in the second quarter with a 17-4 scoring advantage for a 23-10 lead. Leanna Yeager had 12 points for Poland (7-11, 1-6).

Campbell 64, Girard 53

CAMPBELL — Iesha Moses had 22 points, 10 rebounds and six steals to lead Campbell Memorial in the AAC Blue Tier game. Tashira Uceta contributed 15 points and 10 steals. Moses scored 11 points in the final quarter to lead the Red Devils’ 24-14 scoring advantage that enabled them to pull away from a 40-39 edge. Natetay Jones-Logan added nine points on three 3-point goals and three assists. Sarah Such had seven points and five steals. Carolyn Standoher and Melisssa Weitzman each had 11 points for Girard while Emily Smerchansky had nine on three 3-point goals.

Champion 49, Brookfield 43

BROOKFIELD — Heather Beachy scored 17 points for the Golden Flashes (8-8, 4-3 AAC Blue). Jessica Nicholas netted 10. For the Warriors (9-8, 4-4), Kodi Brenner scored 20 points and Ashley Swezey 12.

Lake 48, Boardman 47

UNIONTOWN — Jessica Saporito scored a basket off a Dana Brown pass with 50 seconds remaining to give the Blue Streaks the win in the Federal League tournament semifinal. Jordan Jenkins led the Blue Streaks (14-3, 7-2) with 19 points, including five 3-pointers. Lauren Myers added 12 points. Darryce Moore scored 19 points for the Spartans (12-6, 6-3).

Mass. Jackson 57, Fitch 42

MASSILLON — Britney Terrell had 15 points to lead Massillon Jackson in a Federal League tournament game. Jackson (12-5, 5-4 FL) surged to a 38-14 halftime advantage, then withstood Fitch’s 20-8 comeback in the third quarter. Marrissa Mattozzi had 12 points, including three 3-point goals, to lead Fitch (5-12, 0-9) while Sammie Rovnak added 11 points.

Ursuline 48, Cleveland St. Joseph 33

YOUNGSTOWN — Behind a balanced attack SEmD four players scored eight points apiece — the Irish evened their record after 14 games. St. Joseph (11-6) led 10-8 after eight minutes but were then blanked in the second quarter when the Irish (7-7) took a 16-10 lead at the break. Lucia Petrus scored six of her eight points in a 19-point third quarter for Ursuline.

Magnificat 57, Mooney 41

YOUNGSTOWN — Magnificat used a balanced scoring attack to turn back Cardinal Mooney. The Blue Streaks took a 16-6 first quarter and the Cardinals were never able to catch up. Meredith McConneville led the Blue Streaks (11-6) with 11 points. Katie Griswold tossed in 12 points to pace the Cardinals (9-8).

Warren Harding 53, Geneva 44

WARREN — Anita Brown and Aundrea Baldridge each scored 14 points as the Raiders (14-2) knocked off unbeaten Geneva (16-1). Kourtney Williams scored 11 points and made eight rebounds. Baldridge made three steals. For Geneva, Taylor Webb scored 19 points.

Youngstown Christian 47, Ashtabula Sts. John & Paul 37

ASHTABULA — Kristi Cooper’s double-double (13 points and 13 rebounds) led the Eagles (5-12). Kaylin Hayes scored 10 points. For Ashtabula Sts. John & Paul, Brittany Dimar scored 13 points.

Alliance 56, West Branch 43

BELOIT — Tierney Allen led the Aviators (12-6, 7-6 Northeastern Buckeye Conference) with 23 points. Chelsea Minnoh contributed 14 points and Julia Grimsely 11. For the Warriors (11-5, 8-5), Emilee Zets and Katie Sellarolli each scored 13 points.

Southeast 46, Rootstown 31

RAVENNA — The Pirates (2-14) broke away from a close game with a 14-5 surge in the fourth quarter. Myra Levels scored a game-high 29 points. Tricia Williams chipped in with seven. Paige Berger led Rootstown with 12 points.
