Polka Mass, dance at Sts. Peter and Paul

YOUNGSTOWN — A polka Mass with Slavic folk liturgy has been scheduled for 4 p.m. Saturday at Sts. Peter and Paul Church, corner of Lincoln Avenue and Covington St. Music will be by the Eddie Vallus Band II.

The Rev. Joseph Rudjak, chaplain of Penn Ohio Polka Pals, will be the celebrant for the Mass, honoring Sts. Cyril and Methodius, Apostles to the Slavs.

Following the ceremony, there will be a St. Valentine’s Day dance in the church social hall. Refreshments will be available. For more information on the public event, call (330) 747-6762.
