GIRARD — The well-child immunization clinic is at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Girard Health Department, 100 W. Main St.
A $5 administration fee will be charged for each child.
Parents are reminded to take a copy of their child’s immunization record. A parent or guardian must accompany children under 18, and parents must preregister their children. Call (330) 545-6048.

AUSTINTOWN — The First Ohio Chapter of the Federation of Families for Children’s Mental Health offers a presentation, “Garden and Art Therapy,” at its meeting from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the D&E Clinic, 142 Javit Court.

Hotline classes offered
YOUNGSTOWN — Help Hotline Crisis Center is offering free training classes for people interested in volunteering for the 24-hour hotline.
Classes will meet from 6 to 9:30 p.m. on five Mondays, beginning Feb. 23 through March 30, and from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on one Saturday, April 4.
Volunteers are asked to make a six-month commitment.

Wellness expo planned
BOARDMAN — The Health Choices Network is having its ninth annual Spring Wellness Expo on from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. March 28 at Antone’s Banquet Centre, 8578 Market St.
The expo brings together holistic practitioners and natural products with conventional health care.

HBOT offered at Jameson
NEW CASTLE, Pa. — Jameson Health System is offering noninvasive hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) in the new Jameson Hospital Center for Wound Healing on the fourth floor of its South Campus, 1000 South Mercer St.
HBOT is used to treat diabetic leg and foot wounds, chronic bone infection (osteomyelitis), failed skin grafts or flaps, radiation tissue injury (cystitis, proctitis, osteoradionecrosis), necrotizing infections, gas gangrene, carbon monoxide poisoning, crush injuries and other slow-healing or nonhealing wounds.
