WINTER PARK, Fla. — The English Gardens in Winter Park provided the setting for the 3 p.m. Oct. 11 ceremony at which Kristy Lynne Wining, 827 Illinois Ave., McDonald, and Christian Eric Schabacker of Casselberry, Fla., were united in marriage.

The bride’s brother, Mark Wining, officiated as nuptial vows were exchanged by the couple,

Afterward, a reception took place at Maggianos Little Italy in Orlando, Fla., to honor the daughter of William and Patricia Wining of the McDonald address, and son of Eric Schabacker of Eureka Springs, Ark., and Judy Stone of Winter Garden.

The bride wore a strapless white satin mermaid-style gown.

Serving as honor attendant for the bride was Kaela Hamm of Orlando, who wore a black gown.

The duties of best man were performed by Shawn Walker of Atlanta, Ga., a brother of the groom.

Upon return from a honeymoon in the Bahamas, the couple live in Casselberry.

The bride, an occupational therapist with Lifeskills in Winter Springs, Fla., earned a master’s degree of rehabilitation science in occupational therapy at the Medical University in Charleston, S.C.

The groom graduated from the Musician’s Institute in Los Angeles with a bachelor of music degree. He is a music instructor and performer in Orlando.
