Fitch suffers 66-48 loss to McKinley


CANTON — The Fitch High boys basketball team turned in a close first half against Canton McKinley, falling behind 23-17.

The Bulldogs used a third-quarter surge 21-10 and went on to post a 66-48 victory Thursday in a Federal League contest.

John Williams, who connected on three 3-point goals, paced the Falcons (2-13, 0-7) with 13 points.

Dante Richardson chipped in with 12 points. Shane Stevens pulled down eight rebounds and Mike Miles had four assists.

Jamon McClain paced the Bulldogs (11-3, 4-3) with 16 points. Terrell Lipins added 13 and Tommie Harris finished with 10.
