COLUMBIANA — An Evening of Romance, featuring the music of Bel Duetto, will come to Main Street Theater, 5 N. Main St., at 8 p.m. Feb. 14.

Tickets are $15 and include a coffee and dessert reception catered by Encore Cafe. To order, call the box office at (330) 482-9647 or stop at the Encore, which is adjacent to the theater.

Bel Duetto is the husband and wife duo of Craig Raymaley and Amanda Beagle. Their repertoire ranges from classical to opera to contemporary. On stage, Bel Duetto is accompanied by a live band and ballroom dancers.

Beagle, a Howland native, represented Ohio at the 2005 Miss America Pageant, where she was a talent-award winner. She has received both the Marvin Hamlisch Grand Talent Award and the Giorgio Tozzi Opera Scholarship Award. Beagle has performed lead soprano roles in many musical comedies and operas, including “La Boheme,” “The Gondoliers” and “The King and I.”

Since making his professional debut with Opera Theater of Pittsburgh, Raymaley’s work in musical theater has garnered praise from critics, with the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette calling him “a burnished force.”

Opening for Bel Duetto will be Another Way, Howland High School’s newest choral group. Made up of 10 young men and women, the group sings choral music in a contemporary way that includes a vocal bassist and voice percussionist to create the illusion of a rhythm section.
