Sugar-Jayne troth being announced; wedding in May

EAST PALESTINE — The engagement of Alecia Sugar and Ryan Jayne is being announced by parents of the bride-elect, Denny and Patty Sugar of East Palestine.

Parents of the future groom are Judy Jayne of East Palestine and Ron and Tara Jayne of Hawaii.

The bride-to-be graduated from the University of Akron with a doctoral degree in audiology. She is a pediatric audiologist on the staff at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus.

Her fianc , a graduate of the College of Wooster, will graduate in May from Youngstown State University with a doctoral degree in physical therapy.

The couple are planning to be married on May 30.
