Hiram 63, Allegheny 60
MEADVILLE, PA. — Junior forward Ashley Drum scored a season-high 23 points as Hiram overcame a 13-point deficit in a North Coast Athletic Conference game. The win also gave the Terriers (6-13, 4-6) a two-game sweep of the season series against the Gators (9-10, 5-5). Hiram shot 46.3 percent (25-of-54) from the field to Allegheny’s 37.1 percent (23-of-62) shooting. The Terriers also out-rebounded the Gators, 42-31. Individually, Allegheny was led by Hilary Collins with 17 points on five-of-10 shooting (50.0 percent). Two other Gators scored in double figures with Stephanie Wolf and Laura Magnelli adding 13 points each. Wolf also grabbed a team-high eight rebounds. Hiram had two players in double digits led by Drum’s game-high 23 points on 11-of-16 shooting (68.8 percent). She also pulled down seven boards. Jess Cowan finished the game with 14 points to round out the high scorers. Alex Dellas tallied a game-best nine rebounds to go along with eight points. In the past six games, Dellas has averaged an impressive 9.8 rebounds per game.
