Raiders subdue Clippers for 11th

NORTH LIMA — Abby Schuler scored 15 points and Tab Stanton 12 to lead South Range High to a 48-42 win over Columbiana Monday night, in a girls Inter Tri-County League Tier One basketball game Monday night.
The Raiders (11-6, 6-5 ITCL Tier One) made 18-for-34 at the foul line to help hold off the Clippers.
Katie Witmer and Ashley Shea had 11 points each to lead Columbiana (9-7, 5-5), while Witmer also grabbed eight rebounds and Shea 10.
Crestview 65, Mineral Ridge 36
NEW WATERFORD — Chelsea Bowker scored 25 points and had 10 rebounds to lead the Rebels in a Tier One game. Hillary Phillis added 17 points and six assists for Crestview (14-2, 9-1), and Shanelle Davner finished with 12 points, three steals and two blocked shots. Britt Bevilacqua and Tara Yacovone scored eight points each to lead Mineral Ridge (2-13, 1-10). Yacovone also had five rebounds, and Abby Riffee had six assists and six steals.
Springfield 48, East Palestine 25
EAST PALESTINE — Rachael Kennedy scored 11 of her 13 points in the third quarter as Springfield used a 19-9 advantage in that period to take control. Andrea Lyons added 12 points for the Tigers (8-9, 5-7).
Bre Hull scored 12 points for the Bulldogs (3-12, 1-9), while Becky Bollinger had nine points and six rebounds.
McDonald 59, Southern 39
SALINEVILLE — Joh’Vonnie Mosely scored 22 points to lead McDonald in a Tier Two game.
The Blue Devils (11-4, 8-3) led 35-14 at halftime.
Ashley Russell scored 11 points to lead Southern (2-12, 2-7).
Western Reserve 68, Jackson-Milton 32
NORTH JACKSON — Victoria Brown scored 16 points, including 12 in the first half, to lead Western Reserve in a Tier Two game. Brown also had nine rebounds, along with Jessie Keeler, and Melissa Burky added 10 points for the Blue Devils (8-7, 7-2), who led 38-14 at the break. Colleen Kennehan had four assists. Alyssa Chine and Maddie Griffiths scored 10 points each to lead Jackson-Milton (0-16, 0-11). Katelynn Pirko had four rebounds and four assists.
Sebring 54, Wellsville 42
SEBRING — Jill Bragg scored 18 points to lead the Trojans (7-8, 4-6) in a Tier Two game. Maggie Householder and Taylor Ward added 10 points each for Sebring.
Ward and Katy Butler had seven rebounds each, and Emily Dickens had seven assists and seven steals. For Wellsville (4-11, 3-7), Mikalya Tipton scored 15 points and PJ Williams added 12.
Lindsey Koontz finished with six rebounds.
