MATTHEWS, N.C. — Marriage vows were exchanged by Cristina Mary Sheridan and Brian Paul Funderburke during a 4 p.m. ceremony that took place on Oct. 4 at Antioch United Methodist Church. David Casper III officiated.
After a reception at Clary’s Banquet Hall, the couple left for a honeymoon in Sarasota, Fla.
The bride is a daughter of John and Kim Sheridan of Sarasota, and Judy and Jerry Bogan of Austintown, and the groom is a son of Mike Funderburke and Paula Benton of Monroe, N.C.
Red gowns were worn by the bride’s sisters and honor attendants, Kathleen Connolly and Jacklyn Yohn. The flower girl was Ava Greene.
Performing the duties of best man was Rush Medley, and groomsmen were Andrew Greene; Tyler Funderburke, a brother of the groom; Timothy Sheridan, the bride’s brother; and Tyler Connolly, her nephew. Another nephew of the bride, Reese Connolly, served as ring bearer.
The bride and groom are deputy sheriffs for Union County, N.C., and make their home in Monroe.
