Registration for Ohio’s motorcycle education program begins today


COLUMBUS — The Ohio Department of Public Safety’s Motorcycle Ohio Rider Education Program registration begins today.

Those wanting to learn how to ride a motorcycle or refresh their motorcycle safety skills may register at www.motorcycle.ohio.gov for one of the $25 courses scheduled throughout the state from April through October.

In 2008, Motorcycle Ohio trained more than 13,500 riders, surpassing the 2007 total of 12,000 students. More than 132,000 motorcycle riders have been trained since the program’s inception in 1988.
