Hancor’s Milligan becomes local chapter’s chairman
YOUNGSTOWN — Jim Milligan of Hancor Inc. has been named 2009 chairman of the Youngstown chapter of the Ohio Contractors Association. Hancor, which is based in Findlay, is a plastics supplier for the construction industry. The contractors association represents more than 525 contractors and industry suppliers that are involved in heavy-highway, utility, sewer line and waterline work.
Coach opens up shop in Southern Park Mall
BOARDMAN — Coach, a designer of luxury handbags and accessories, has opened a store in the Southern Park Mall. Included in the store’s offerings are purses, wallets, shoes and jewelry. The store is in the center court.
Motorcycle rider program registration begins today
COLUMBUS — The Ohio Department of Public Safety’s Motorcycle Ohio Rider Education Program registration begins today. Those wanting to learn how to ride a motorcycle or refresh their motorcycle safety skills may register at www.motorcycle.ohio.gov for one of the $25 courses scheduled throughout the state from April through October.
In 2008, Motorcycle Ohio trained more than 13,500 riders, surpassing the 2007 total of 12,000 students. More than 132,000 motorcycle riders have been trained since the program’s inception in 1988.
