Figures on the growth of recycling in Columbiana County since the beginning of the program:

1994: 239,108 pounds, or more than 119 tons.

1999: 1,565,200 pounds, or more than 782 tons.

2004: 2,082,510 pounds, or more than 1,041 tons.

2008: 3,617,742 pounds, or 1,809 tons.
