Polaks honored at anniversary party on Jan. 17

BOARDMAN — A party took place from 5 to 9 p.m. Jan. 17 at the Byzantine Center at the Grove in Youngstown to honor Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Polak, 1866 Wingate Road, on the occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary.

Invitations for the festivity were extended by their children and their spouses, Jackie and Jess Kovach of Austintown, Joe and Tracy Polak of Poland, Patricia Jo Polak of Youngstown, and Jeri Polak of Canfield, and their grandchildren, Robert Heredy and Philip Polak.

Mr. Polak and the former Patricia Batcha were united in marriage on Jan. 17, 1959, at St. Matthias Church in Youngstown, where they are members.

Mr. Polak retired in 2000 from Majestic Manufacturing in New Waterford.
