GARDEN CLUBS | This week's meetings announced

MONDAY

• McDonald Woodland Garden Club will meet at 7:30 p.m. in the senior citizens room of the post office building.

• Transplants will meet at 7:30 p.m. with Maureen Binning, 2893 Algonquin Drive, Poland, as hostess and Ruth Frankenburg as co-hostess. There will be a raffle.

WEDNESDAY

• The Men’s Garden Club of Youngstown will meet at 7:30 p.m. at Fellows Riverside Gardens in Mill Creek Park. Dennis Penner will present a program on “Tips for Home Lawn Care.” For more information call (330) 799-6046.

THURSDAy

• St. Charles will meet at 7 p.m. in St. Matthew Room at the Ministries Building for a program on the Green Team by Jim Petuch. Hostesses will be Donna Demain, Theresa Kelly and Mary Ann Meyer.

• Garden club events are published Sunday. The deadline is noon Thursday.
