Medical Alliance to host Garden of Hope benefit

CANFIELD — Mahoning County Medical Society Alliance will host a champagne brunch and fashion show on Feb. 20 at Avion on the Water, 2177 S. Western Reserve Road.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the Garden of Hope at Akron Children’s Hospital Mahoning Valley, Beeghly Campus, 6505 Market St., Boardman.
The fundraiser will begin with a social and basket raffle at 10 a.m. followed by the champagne brunch at 11. Afterward there will be a style show sponsored by Talbots in Boardman, featuring the latest spring fashions. Hairstyles for models will be created by Casal’s De Spa and Salon, and Angee Shaker will serve as moderator.
The cost for brunch and style show will be $30 per person, and tables for 8 to 10 can be reserved. To make reservations, send a check, payable to MCMSA to the organization at 536 E. Main St., Suite 220, Canfield, OH 44407, or call (330) 533-4880, by Feb. 12.
Arrangements for the fundraiser are being made by a committee comprising Carol Sankovic, Lynee Aiad-Toss, Susan Yarab, Tricia Potesta, Stephanie Hunter, Donna Hayat, Kathy Dwinnells, and Karen Kuppler.
