Mardi Gras Party to benefit Hospice of the Valley

BOARDMAN — Hospice of the Valley will host its 7th annual Mardi Gras Party Feb. 21 at Mr. Anthony’s 7440 South Ave. Doors open at 6 p.m. with champagne and hors d’oeuvres.

Featured at the event will be a silent auction, with vacation packages, gift items, game tickets and autographed memorabilia; a Chinese auction; dancing to DJ Bryan Ladd and the Dixie Landers; a 50-50 raffle, psychic readings, a Mardi Gras store, food and more.

The Mardi Gras sponsor for 2009 is National City. Honorary chairs for the event are John and Denise York, DeBartolo Corporation; and Rochelle and Greg Strollo, Strollo Architects. The donation for the evening’s festivities is $65 per person, and the public is invited. Corporate tables of eight are available.

All proceeds stay local to benefit Hospice of the Valley and its mission to provide comfort and compassionate care to those at the end of life as well as support for their families.
