AARP 3104

• Canfield AARP 3104 will meet at 1 p.m. Monday at Canfield Presbyterian Church. Blood pressure screenings will be from noon until the meeting. The program will be given by Peg Flynn of the Green Team on “The 3 R’s — Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.” Dues will be collected. The next board meeting will be at 10 a.m. Feb. 16 at the Canfield Presbyterian Church.

1418 AUXILIARY

• 1418 Auxiliary Seniors will meet at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Oakview. John Texter will preside. Valentine’s Day will be observed. Cancellations must be made by Monday to Kay Shabella at (330) 755-0459. Any call after that date will not be accepted. Birthdays and anniversaries will be acknowledged. • Retirees of Ajax Magnethermic will meet at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Vernon’s Cafe in Niles for a Valentine’s Day luncheon. Wives and guests are welcome.

CORNERSBURG

• Cornersburg Happy Seniors will meet at 11 a.m. Thursday at Blue Wolf Banquet and Catering on Tippecanoe Road with Linda Wiland presiding. Dinner will be served at a cost of $11.50. Vocal entertainment will be by Bob Noble, and greeters will be Dorothy Wood and Carolyn Steiner. Illnesses should be reported to Eleanor Zuby, (330) 799-7127. GIRARD

• Girard Senior Citizens Club will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the center, 16 N. State St. February birthdays and anniversaries will be celebrated. Zora Patrick, 2008 senior of the year, will be recognized. Dues for 2009 will be collected, and games will be played.

IMMACULATE HEART

LOWELLVILLE SENIORS

• Lowellville Senior Citizens will meet at noon Friday at the conference room in Lowellville City Hall. Delores Romeo will preside and officers for the coming year will be installed. • Bridge, 500, chess and checkers will be played when Martha Lupse 50-Plus Card and Game Club meets from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Room 106 at Poland United Methodist Church. Reports will be given by Carol McClain and Mary Jo Theis. February birthdays will be observed, and 2009 dues will be collected. Attendance prizes will be given, cards and bingo will be played, and there will be a 50-50 raffle.

ST. NICHOLAS

• St. Nicholas Senior Citizens will meet for a luncheon at 11 a.m. Feb. 10 at the Father Petric Social Hall. LaVerne Cox will preside. Reservations are required and can be made until Wednesday.
