City man arraigned on charges in South Side shooting

YOUNGSTOWN — A 28-year-old city man is in the Mahoning County jail on $35,000 bond for the city’s most recent shooting.

Walter Wright, 28, of Verona Avenue, appeared for arraignment today before Judge Elizabeth Kobly in Youngstown Municipal Court on felonious assault charges. He is accused of shooting 28-year-old Brian Williams in the chest Sunday outside a Youngstown bar.
