New Lisbon Lodge installs youngest worshipful master

LISBON — New Lisbon Lodge 65 F&AM installed officers on Dec. 4, its 150th annual installation ceremony.
James P. Woodward of Struthers was installed as worshipful master. A Struthers High School graduate and student at Youngstown State University, Woodward is the youngest worshipful master installed at the lodge.
Woodward has also earned the rank of Eagle Scout in Boy Scouts of America and is enrolled in ROTC at the university.
Installing officer was the Right Worshipful Brother Kevin Todd, senior grand warden of the Most Worshipful Grand Lodge of Ohio. Assisting him with the installation duties were Right Worshipful Brother Keith McKinney as chaplain, Worshipful Brother Bill Robinette as marshal and Worshipful Brother Glenn Adams as secretary.
The officers of New Lisbon who were installed for the coming year are Mark Hall as senior warden, John Shulas as junior warden, Bill Stanley as treasurer, Dave Tolson as secretary, Jim Griffiths as chaplain, Virgil Wherry as senior deacon, Andrew Hartsough as junior deacon, Justin DePase as senior steward, Don Jugenheimer as tyler and Don Butream as lodge education officer.
After the meeting, a reception in the dining hall honored the new officers with 66 in attendance.
Activities planned for the new year include an awards night, Table Lodge and charitable fundraising.
Dinners open to the public take place on the third Sunday of each month from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Masonic Center, state Route 172, to benefit different charitable endeavors. The main philanthropic project of the Grand Lodge of Ohio is Special Olympics.
