Mass, dinner help family celebrate Demidovich 60th

BOARDMAN — Joseph and Valeria Demidovich of Boardman celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a Mass at Holy Family Church in Poland, officiated by Monsignor William Connell and followed by a family dinner.

Mr. Demidovich and the former Valeria Lyda were married on Oct. 29, 1949, at St. John the Baptist Church in Campbell.

Family joining in the celebration included their children and spouses, Joseph and Charlyne Demidovich of Lakeland, Fla.; James and Reeny Demidovich of Boardman; Cathy and Steve Ferenchak of Canfield; and Diane and Victor Rovder of Powell. Grandchildren are Joseph Demidovich III; Lisa Demidovich (Jeremy Berzon) ; Kristin Demidovich, Jimmy Demidovich, Angie Ferenchak, Kenny Ferenchak, Rachel Rovder and Alex Rovder.

Mr. Demidovich is a retired sales agent for Metropolitan Life Insurance Co., and Mrs. Demidovich is a retired homemaker.
