MAHONING COUNTY

Celtic Healthcare offers hot, nutritious meals weekdays at seven locations in Mahoning County for people 60 or older and their spouses, regardless of age. Reservations are required three days in advance, and transportation is available. A $2 donation is suggested per meal. Home-delivered meals are also available for seniors homebound due to illness, injury or handicap.

Wednesday, Dec 30: Beef tips with gravy, rice, mexicorn, diced peaches, wheat bread with margarine, apple juice, and milk. Extra meal delivered for Friday.

Thursday, Dec. 31: Closed for holiday. Extra meal delivered Tuesday.

Friday, Jan. 1: Closed for holiday.

Saturday, Jan. 2: Cold cut sandwich on a hamburger bun with mustard and mayonnaise, unsweetened mixed fruit, carrot bag with ranch dressing, and fruit juice.

Monday, Jan. 4: Vegetable lasagna, glazed carrots, peas, Italian bread with margarine, diced peaches, sweetened or unsweetened, and milk.

Tuesday, Jan. 5: Sausage link with peppers and onions, potato spudster, hot dog bun, diced pears, and milk.

TRUMBULL COUNTY

The Trumbull County Office of Elderly Affairs offers older people a well-balanced meal and an opportunity to share fellowship weekdays at 12 locations in Trumbull County. Reservations must be made two working days in advance. Any person 60 or older or whose spouse is 60 or over is eligible to attend. There is no income requirement. The suggested donation is $1.25 per meal.

Wednesday, Dec. 30: Beef tips with gravy, rice, mexicorn, sweetened or unsweetened diced peaches, wheat bread with margarine, apple juice, and milk.

Thursday, Dec. 31: Porcupine meatballs, peas, mashed potatoes, wheat bread with margarine, sweetened or unsweetened mandarin oranges, and milk.

Friday, Jan. 1: Closed for holiday.

Monday, Jan. 4: Vegetable lasagna, glazed carrots, peas, Italian bread with margarine, sweetened or unsweetened diced peaches, and milk.

Tuesday, Jan. 5: Mild rope sausage with peppers and onions, potato spudster, hot dog bun, sweetened or unsweetened diced pears, and milk.
