EAST PALESTINE — The Rev. Dan Cipar solemnized the marriage of Jennifer Lynn Boeshart and John C. Thorne III, both of Cincinnati, at 2:30 p.m. Nov. 14 at Our Lady of Lourdes Church.

The daughter of Francis and Dianna Boeshart of Newark and the son of Atty. John C. and Elizabeth Thorne of New Waterford were honored after the ceremony during a reception at the Links at Firestone Farms in Columbiana.

After a honeymoon cruise to the western Caribbean, the couple live in Cincinnati.

Hunter-green gowns were worn by Amy Boeshart, the bride’s sister and honor attendant, and the bridesmaids, Rachel Nichols, Courtney Warat, Malena Ogles and the groom’s cousin, Kendal Ginneth. Flower girl was Miranda Nichols.

The duties of best man were performed by Mark Nichols, and serving as groomsmen were Christopher Krantz; Tom Thorne, a brother of the groom; Jason Small; and the bride’s brother, Paul Boeshart. Ring bearer was a cousin of the groom, Aiden Davis.

The bride graduated from the University of Dayton with a bachelor’s degree and earned a master’s degree at the University of Cincinnati. She is a federal agent with the U.S. Postal Inspection Service in Cincinnati.

The groom, a trooper with the Ohio State Highway Patrol in Cincinnati, received a bachelor’s degree from Youngstown State University and a master’s degree from the University of Cincinnati.
