Loads of toys

The Shops at Boardman Park teamed up with the Marine Corp’s Toys for Tots to help those in need this holiday season. They began their toy drive early in November with a shopping trip to Kohl’s. There, they purchased $2,500 worth of toys to kick off their campaign. The Shops at Boardman Park have been collecting toys since Nov. 21. On Dec. 12, The Shops filled a flatbed trailer with 30 boxes of toys worth an estimated $6,000. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., customers dropped off new, unwrapped toys, while St. Lukes Children’s and adult choir added holiday cheer with Christmas carols.
