LEAWOOD, Kan. — The Lodge at Ironwood Park was the setting at 5:30 p.m. Nov. 14 as Shauna Korine Fuller and Joshua Sean Bartel, both of 10323 High Drive, were united in marriage by the Rev. John Fuller, a cousin of the bride.

The couple accepted congratulations at a reception immediately after the ceremony.

The bride, a daughter of Richard and Beverly Fuller, 10309 Sagamore Road, and the groom, a son of Richard and Carla Bartel, 530 Utah St., McDonald, have postponed their honeymoon cruise to Mexico until the spring and live in Leawood.

The bride’s strapless white satin A-line gown was enhanced with Swarovski crystals and featured a chapel train.

Derek Fuller of Dallas served as the honor attendant for his sister. The flower girl was the bride’s niece, Raleigh Fuller of Dallas, and her attendant was the bride’s cousin, Mackenzie Fuller of Overland Park, Kan.

The duties of best man were performed by the groom’s brother, Jeremy Bartel of Edgware, Middlesex, United Kingdom, and the usher was Jackson Fuller of Overland Park, a cousin of the bride.

Mrs. Bartel graduated from Baker University in Baldwin City, Kan., with both a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in education. She is a fourth-grade teacher with Belinder Elementary School in Prairie village, Kan.

Mr. Bartel is a software engineer with Garmin International. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Youngstown State University.
