CANFIELD

Dec. 14

Disorderly conduct: Police arrested a 16-year-old female student on a disorderly conduct charge at the Mahoning County Career and Technical Center, 7300 N. Palmyra Road.

Domestic violence: Police arrested Charles A. Callahan, 42, on a domestic-violence charge at his home at 9 Willow Way.

Dec. 15

Property theft: A resident of Winona Avenue told police an item was paid for online but never received.

Dec. 16

Drug abuse: Police arrested Matthew E. Kelso, 18, of 4523 Deer Creek, Austintown, on charges of drug abuse, alleging he possessed and concealed a marijuana cigarette at Stoneybrook Lane and Sawmill Run Road.

Dec. 17

Burglary: Someone broke into a home in the 500 block of Hickory Hollow Drive and caused significant damage to the property and took the family dog.

Dec. 14

Misuse of credit card: Two suspects used a credit card belonging to a victim at Wal-Mart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: Cash deposits were reportedly stolen by employees at Handel’s, 4800 Mahoning Ave.

Telecommunications harassment: A woman who sells memberships to truck drivers for her company and works at the TA Travel Center, 5400 Seventy-Six Drive, reported receiving unwanted text messages of a sexual nature from a male suspect.

Theft: Police arrested Robert B. Williamson, 43, of 2241 E. Garfield Road, New Springfield, on charges of trespassing and theft, and Geneva Moss, 57, of 438 Garfield St., Youngstown, on charges of theft at Wal-Mart after police say they attempted to leave the store with a 19-inch Phillips LED flat-screen TV. Both were released on a summons. Moss also was charged with complicity, possession of drug paraphernalia, possessing drug abuse instruments and possession of suspected heroin and other drugs.

Theft: A man is accused a walking out on a food bill of $34.84 at B-W3’s, 6000 Mahoning Ave.

Criminal damaging: A trailer lock was damaged at Austintown Sports Center, 5466 Mahoning Ave.

Breaking and entering: Vehicle parts to a Honda were stolen from storage units at the Ice House Inn, 5516 W. Webb Road.

Theft: A laptop computer was taken from a home in the 3000 block of North Turner Road.

Aggravated robbery: A male suspect wearing dark clothing and wielding a knife took $90 at Uni-Mart, 5501 Mahoning Ave.

Dec. 15

Theft: A total of $39.73 in fuel was stolen from Uni-Mart, 5502 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: A 50-gallon hand roller was taken from the rear yard of a home in the 5000 block of Barkley Avenue.

Fraud: Unauthorized charges were made to a credit card at a home in the 900 block of Collins Avenue.

Theft: Medications were taken from a home in the 2000 block of Breezewood Drive.

Criminal damaging: Police accused a man of damaging a lawn at a home in the 6000 block of Fairview Avenue.

Dec. 16

Misconduct: Police arrested Shannon E. Graves, 21, of 261 Clingan Road, Poland, on charges of misconduct at an emergency at the Go-Go Cabaret, 5455 Clarkins Drive, which had been evacuated because of a fire alarm.

Fraud: A fraudulent charge was made to an account at a home in the 1000 block of Forest Hill Drive.

Auto theft: A 2002 Chrysler Concord was reported stolen in the 40 block of North Raccoon Road and later recovered by Youngstown police.

Barking dog: Police issued a summons to Herman K. Pipe, 41 of 2290 Birch Trace, for a barking dog.

Dec. 17

Drug offense: Police arrested Richard D. Infante, 40, of 116 Wade Ave., Niles, on charges of drug abuse of cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia and permitting drug abuse at Clarkins Drive and North Niles-Canfield Road. The suspect and his passenger, Jessica L. Guy, 28, of 3469 Larchmont Ave., Warren, also were issued criminal trespass warnings for the area of state Route 46 and the Interstate 80 truck stop.

Passing bad check: A female tenant wrote a bad check for rent to a woman in the 100 block of North Navarre Avenue.

Theft: A total of $67.65 in fuel was stolen at Uni-Mart, 890 N. Niles-Canfield Road.

Theft: An undetermined amount of money was taken from a purse at a home in the 100 block of Westchester Drive.

Theft: Comforters were taken from a clothes dryer at the Wedgewood Laundry, 4286 New Road.

Theft: Police charged Martie Retort, 20, of 2606 Penny Lane, with theft on allegations of stealing $112.46 of merchandise from Kmart, 4475 Mahoning Ave., where she was an employee.

Dec. 18

Attempted breaking and entering: An attempt was made to enter a storage unit in the 5000 block of West Webb Road.

Criminal damaging: A paint ball damaged a home in the 1000 block of Cavalcade Drive.

Robbery: An 18-year-old female was the victim of a robbery at Sleep Inn, 5555 Interstate Blvd.

Breaking and entering: Two clothes dryers were damaged and coin machines taken from apartments in the 4000 block of Rhode Island Drive.

Theft: A rear license plate was stolen from a vehicle in the 4000 block of New Hampshire Court.

Theft: A checkbook was stolen from a purse at Gateways, 30 W. Liberty St.

Dec. 19

Fraud: Two unauthorized transactions were made in Arizona on an account owned by a resident of the 1000 block of Wise Lane.

Theft: A gun and magazine were stolen from a home in the 4000 block of Norquest Boulevard.

Dec. 20

Theft: Two suitcases were stolen from Big Lots, 4341 Kirk Road by a man and a woman who fled in a gold vehicle.

Theft: A TV stand was stolen from Comfort Inn, 5425 Clarkins Road.

Telecommunications harassment: A man is accused of making harassing calls to a home in the 4000 block of East Rockwell Road.

Drug offense: Police charged Norman Weimer, 21, of 1235 S. Meridian Road, with possession of marijuana in the 100 block of North Four Mile Run Road.

Theft: The tailgate from a truck was stolen at Bill’s Place, 4771 Mahoning Ave.

Burglary: A window was broken and jewelry was reported missing from a home in the 4000 block of Selkirk Road.
