Sewing guild elects new officers

Special to The Vindicator IT’S OFFICIAL: Niles Chapter of the American Sewing Guild had a Christmas party Dec. 5 at Ciminero’s Banquet Center. Members elected officers who will serve during 2010. Named to various positions were Jennie Roberts, president; Lynn Price, first vice president; Barbara Rosier-Tryon, second vice president; Diane Wittik, secretary; and Joan Dales, treasurer. A highlight was the presentation of the organization’s first “Member of the Year” award.
