Heard switches to Nebraska; Hammond to Wisconsin

Two area football standouts made college decisions this weekend, with Mooney RB Braylon Heard switching his verbal commitment from West Virginia to Nebraska and Boardman WR Chase Hammond selecting Wisconsin.

Nebraska is coached by Mooney High graduate Bo Pelini.

Hammond is the third Spartan to earn a Big Ten scholarship in the last two years, joining Ohio State recruits J.T. Moore and Corey Linsley.
