Rhinehart 50th is celebrated at Drakes Landing

CANFIELD — Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Rhinehart, 97 Neff Drive, were honored by family members as they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary during a 5 p.m. dinner party on Dec. 5 at Drakes Landing Restaurant.

Hosts for the festivity were their children and their spouses, Gregory and Debbie Rhinehart of Powell, Kenneth and Tina Rhinehart of Westerville, and Katherine and Mike Krohn of Lindenhurst, Ill. Also participating were their eight grandchildren.

The former Barbara Mikesell and Mr. Rhinehart were united in marriage on Dec. 5, 1959, at the United Church of Christ in Youngstown. They are members of Canfield United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Rhinehart was employed as a baker and cashier with Canfield School System from 1976 to 1989.

Mr. Rhinehart served with the U.S. Army Medical Corps in France from 1957 to1959. He was employed as manager of salary payroll and employee benefits at Youngstown Sheet and Tube Co. in Boardman. After that he was a principal examiner for NCUA, an agency of the federal government in Washington, until retiring in 1996. He is a member of Youngstown Saxon Club.
