CANFIELD — Kathleen Abel and Bradley Morgan, both of 8410 Streamview Drive, Apt. 0, Huntersville, N.C., were united in marriage at 2 p.m. Oct. 17 at Canfield Presbyterian Church.
The Rev. Larry Bowald officiated at the wedding for the daughter of Richard and Kay Abel, 133 Indian Lake Blvd., and son of Ronald and Patricia Morgan, 5870 Untermeyer Court, North Fort Myers, Fla.
The couple accepted congratulations during a reception at Das Dutch Village Inn, Columbiana, and live in Huntersville. They have postponed their honeymoon until the summer.
Beaded lace enhanced the bride’s strapless ivory A-line gown. It featured a side drape, laced-up back and a chapel train.
Apple-colored gowns were worn by Jessica Shaffer, the bride’s sister and honor attendant, and the bridesmaids, Jennifer O’Brian, the groom’s sister, and Ebony Morgan, his sister-in-law.
Brian Morgan performed the duties of best man for his brother, and serving as groomsmen were Chris O’Brian, the groom’s brother-in-law; and Martin Shaffer, the bride’s brother-in-law.
The bride graduated from Ohio State University with a bachelor’s degree in early elementary education. She is a fourth-grade teacher with Charlotte-Mecklenburg School System in Charlotte, N.C.
The groom is employed in corporate accounting with Lowes Company in Mooresville, N.C He graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University, in Fort Myers, Fla., with a bachelor’s degree in accounting.
