Rotary club members adopt Harding students

MENTORING: Youngstown Rotary Club has adopted Harding Elementary School as part of its “Put Kids First” program. Through its mentoring program, the club has helped the school and the students and has led to the construction of a new playground at the school. Mentors from the club met on Dec. 16 at the school for a luncheon and program with the young students and were entertained at a concert provided by the sixth grade band. Pupils from the sixth grade classes of Mrs. LaPaze and Mr. Katzman are shown with John Fahnert, who gave each youngster a book for Christmas from the Rotary Club.
