Canfield seniors raise funds

Over 200 vendors sold their crafts and art pieces during the Canfield High senior class craft show Chinese auction Dec. 5. Thousands of dollars worth of merchandise was donated by both the vendors and area merchants for the auction.

The show was organized by the senior class officers with most of the class assisting. Run almost completely by the student body, the show has solicited around 200 student volunteers.

The show has served as the major fundraiser to help cover the cost of the Junior-Senior banquet, graduation exercises, a gift to the school in the name of the class, and donations to numerous community service agencies and families in need throughout the year.
