ASSOCIATIONS

• Alzheimer’s Association Caregiver Support Group will meet at 10 a.m. Jan. 5 at the Senior Center of Mahoning County, Fifth Avenue, Youngstown, and at 1:30 p.m. Jan. 13 at Easter Seals Day Center, 721 Boardman-Poland Road, Boardman. • Woodrow Wilson High School Class of 1953 will meet for a Christmas luncheon at 11:30 a.m. Monday at Johnny’s.

CLUBS

• McDonald Parents of Performing Arts will meet at 4 p.m. Wednesday in the senior citizens room at the post office building.

• Ohio Cultural Alliance will meet at 6 p.m. Jan. 4 at the Saxon Club, 710 S. Meridian Road, Austintown, for a catered dinner. Music will be by Nathan Stephens, pianist. • Warren Women’s Connection has chosen “What’s Changing in 2010” as the theme for its luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Jan. 11 at DiLucia’s Banquet Room, 2610 Elm Road N.E., Warren. Melissa Emery of the Mae Co. will show her Miche bags, Nancy Montagna will provide special music, and Doris Zurkey will speak on “Learning to Love Changes Things.” The cost is $12. • Youngstown South Christian Women’s Club will have a “We Meet Again, 2010” meeting at noon Jan. 14 at Avion on the Water Banquet Center, 2177 W. Western Reserve Road, for a program featuring the Miche bag. “Optimism is Alive and Well” will be the theme of Terri Sevinsky of Cleveland, the speaker and soloist. The cost is $13. • League of Women Voters of Greater Youngstown will host the annual Legislative Brunch on Jan. 9 at the Youngstown Club, 201 Commerce St., Youngstown. • A holiday potluck will take place from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at 1523 Poland Ave., Youngstown, for Youngstown Area PFLAG, Stonewall Democrats, YSU Unity, All Family Matters, Youngstown Pride Center and Pride Youngstown. The potluck dinner will begin at 3:30.
