AUSTIN, Texas — Avery Bradley scored a season-high 18 points and had five assists to lead Texas. Bradley, who averaged 16 points on 13-of-26 shooting in the last two games, led the Longhorns (9-0) offensively, going 8 of 15 from the field while involving others with his timely passing.
No. 7 Duke 113, Gardner-Webb 68
DURHAM, N.C. — Jon Scheyer scored 24 of his career-high 36 points in the first half to lead Duke. Scheyer was 11-of-13 shooting and hit a career-best seven 3-pointers while flirting with a triple-double for the Blue Devils (8-1). Duke never trailed, broke the game open with a huge early run and shot 65.2 percent — 60.7 percent in the first half, when this one was decided. Auryn MacMillan scored 14 points and C.J. Hailey added 11 to lead Gardner-Webb (3-5).
No. 9 Tennessee 77, Wyoming 58
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Scotty Hopson scored 14 points to help Tennessee pull away from Wyoming. The Vols (8-1) struggled to slow down the normally high-scoring Cowboys (5-5) in the first half, but Tennessees defensive pressure and fast break offense wore Wyoming down in the second.

No. 8 Ohio St. 84, Wright St. 47
COLUMBUS — Brittany Johnson scored 14 points, including 11 straight in a 15-3 first-half run, to lead Ohio State. Jantel Lavender led the Buckeyes (11-1) with 18 points and Tayler Hill added 12. Ta-myra Davis had 15 points and Erica Richardson added 12 for Wright State (4-4), winless in three meetings with its big, in-state neighbor. The Buckeyes shot 63 percent from the field, missing several shots late while threatening the school mark of 72 percent set the first time the teams met in 2003. Wright State hung tough early, trailing 13-12 midway through the first half. The Buckeyes went on a 10-0 run with Johnson scoring the final three points. Johnson then had the next eight points for the Buckeyes.
No. 5 LSU 93, Houston Baptist 31
BATON ROUGE, La. — Latear Eason and Taylor Turnbow had 12 points each to lead five players in double figures and LSU routed Houston Baptist in the first round of the inaugural Sue Gunter Classic.
