The spirit of Christmas is more than mere words
The spirit of Christmas is more than mere words
EDITOR:
I read about the good Christian ladies who are offended that people say happy holidays. And they are spending their money on billboards preaching that it is Merry Christmas.
I say happy holidays because four religions celebrate the end of December as a holiday. So it is not political correct but just common courtesy to wish everyone a happy holiday.
Instead of buying a billboard so all can see what good Christians they are, they could have used the money for something else. Remember, Jesus fed the hungry, healed the sick and in the ultimate act of unselfish love died for our salvation. But, hey, let us spend money because people don’t say Merry Christmas.
After all He did for us, we have learned nothing.
