Struthers schools janitor fired
STRUTHERS — The school board voted unanimously to fire a janitorial technician who worked at the high school.
Jennifer Lucansky was fired by a resolution at the board’s meeting Tuesday.
Lucansky was dismissed over an episode at the high school Nov. 16. A police report says she’s accused of walking into a classroom, grabbing a 17-year-old girl by the back of the neck and telling her to “stop writing your name on the [obscenity] white boards.”
The report says that afterward, Lucansky left the room and continued with her duties.
