Thompson places 3rd to lead Brookfield wrestlers

ELYRIA — Tyler Thompson placed third at 125 pound to lead four Brookfield placers at Saturday’s Jim McNulty wrestling tournament at Elyria Catholic High School.

Thompson went 3-1 with three pins.

Jordan Thompson (112) placed fourth after going 2-2 with two pins.

Marcell Vitello (130) placed seventh with a 2-2 mark, one pin and one medical default.

Mark Hiner (285) placed seventh with a 3-2 record and two pins.
