AUSTINTOWN — Kristy Croysdale and Kevin Newton, both of Charlotte, N.C., were married in a 1:30 p.m. ceremony on June 27 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, where the Rev. Stephen E. Popovich presided.

The daughter of Ken and Patty Croysdale, 5639 Tarrytown Lane, and the son of Dennis and Eileen Newton, Rock Canyon Drive, Charlotte, were honored at a reception at The Georgetown in Boardman.

The couple have returned from a honeymoon in Jamaica. They reside at 7826-A Davinci Lane, Charlotte.

The bride is a graduate of Mount Union College in Alliance with a bachelor’s degree in education. She is employed as a teacher for the Gaston County Schools in Gastonia, N.C.

The groom earned an associate degree from Central Piedmont Community College in Charlotte, where he works as a closer for Wells Fargo.
