Bennie Adams: His appeals are in the state courts. He killed Gina Tenney of Ashtabula, his 19-year-old upstairs neighbor in an Ohio Avenue duplex in Youngstown.

Mark Aaron Brown: Execution date is Feb. 4, 2010, and clemency hearing is Jan. 5, 2010. He killed store owner Isam Salman and employee Hayder Al-Turk in the Midway Market on Elm Street in Youngstown.

Sidney Cornwell: His appeals are in the federal court system. Cornwell killed 3-year-old Jessica Ballew at Oak Park Lane Apartments in Youngstown in a gang-related shooting that hit an innocent child.

John Drummond: His appeals are in the federal system. He fatally shot 3-month-old Jiyen C. Dent Jr. in the head as the infant sat in a baby swing in the child’s East Side Youngstown residence.

John Eley: His appeals are in the federal system. He killed Ihsam Aydah, 28, while robbing him at Sinjil Market on West Federal Street in Youngstown.

Scott Group: His case is in the state system. He murdered Robert Lozier of Austintown in his West Rayen Avenue Youngstown bar and wounded Lozier’s wife, Sandra.

Willie Herring: His appeals are in the state system. Herring was the ringleader of five men convicted in a robbery at the Newport Inn in Youngstown that killed three people.

Warren Spivey: His appeals are being heard in the state courts. He killed 53-year-old Veda Vesper and has argued that he is mentally retarded.

Stanley Adams: His appeals are in the federal courts. He killed 43-year-old Esther Cook and raped and murdered her daughter, Ashley Cook, 12.

Sean Carter: His appeals are in the federal courts. He raped and killed his grandmother, Veader Prince, 68, of West Farmington.

Roderick Davie: He has exhausted all state and federal appeals and awaits an execution date. Davie killed John Coleman and Tracey Jeffries at Veterinary Companies of America in Warren after being fired from a job there three months earlier.

Danny Lee Hill: His appeals are in the federal courts. He tortured and murdered Raymond Fife, 12, who was beaten, raped, impaled, strangled and burned. Hill has argued that he is mentally retarded and shouldn’t be executed.

Nathaniel Jackson: His appeals are in the state courts. He shot and killed Robert Fingerhut in the Howland Township home where Fingerhut lived with Donna Roberts, with whom he had a romantic relationship.

Charles Lorraine: His appeals are in the state courts. He killed Raymond Montgomery, 77, and his wife, Doris, 80, in their home on Haymaker Avenue Northwest in Warren. He has argued that he is mentally retarded and shouldn’t be executed.

Donna Roberts: Her appeals are in the state courts. She conspired with Nathaniel Jackson, who killed her ex-husband, Robert Fingerhut, in the Howland Township home where she lived with Fingerhut.

Andre Williams: His appeals are in the federal courts. He killed George Melnick, 65, and severely beat his wife, Katherine, 65, in Warren.
