POLAND — Holy Family Church was the setting when Amy Laurie and Scott Harper, both of Lansdale, Pa., exchanged vows in a 1:30 p.m. ceremony Oct. 10 with Monsignor William J. Connell officiating.

A reception followed at Leo’s Ristorante in Warren. After a wedding trip to Maui and Oahu, Hawaii, the couple reside in Lansdale.

The bride is the daughter of Anthony Laurie of Struthers and Daniel and Pamela Vass of Poland. The groom’s parents are Allen and Jeanne Harper of Audubon, Pa.

The bride’s ivory strapless gown featured a modified sweetheart neckline and an A-line skirt with draping to one side and a rhinestone and crystal belt.

Dawn McLendon served as matron of honor and wore a red gown, as did the bridesmaids, Sara Laurie, sister-in-law of the bride; Michelle Coppola and Clelia Rose, her cousins; Lisa Harper, sister-in-law of the groom; Krista Bendis, his cousin; and Annique Hogan, Jennifer Raspanti, Susie Shafer and Diana McCormick.

Jeffrey Wells served as best man, and groomsmen were Shawn and Jon Harper, brothers of the groom; Anthony Laurie, brother of the bride; Asher Rose, her cousin; and Justin Dunphy, Nicholas Budabin, Christian Prisco, Matthew Kraeger and Alex Chang.

The bride earned a bachelor’s degree in biological science and a bachelor’s in education at Ohio University. She is a senior territory manager for Allergan. After graduating from Syracuse University, the groom works as an account group supervisor for Dudayk.
