YOUNGSTOWN — Exchanging nuptial vows at 2 p.m. Aug. 22 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church were Danielle Bequeath and Matthew Shaw.
Monsignor Michael Cariglio officiated over the ceremony for the daughter of Alan and Cheryl Bequeath of North Lima and the son of Mary Ellen Shaw and Melvin Shaw of New Waterford.
A reception took place at the Barn and Gazebo Ltd. in Salem.
The bride wore a white satin strapless princess line gown with a chapel train and empire waistline accented with embroidery and crystal sequin beading.
Matron of honor was Tina Bequeath, sister-in-law of the bride, who wore a deep amethyst gown. The best man was Nathan Gray. Serving as flower girl was Caitlyn Bable, a cousin of the groom, accompanied by Logan Bequeath, nephew of the bride.
Ushers were Alan Bequeath II, Tyler Robertson, Michael Shaw, Cody Bable and Joseph Kusior. Readers at the Mass celebration were Teri Bequeath, sister of the bride, and David Shaw, brother of the groom.
The bride graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in criminal justice. She is pursuing her doctorate in sociology at the University of Akron.
The groom graduated from YSU with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. He is working as a professional engineer.
The couple have made their home in New Waterford.
