Who’s complaining over there?

Who’s complaining over there?

EDITOR:

While we hear a lot of Americans railing about the flaws in single-payer systems in other countries, we never hear of anyone living under one of those systems yearning for the system of private insurance oppressing the citizens of the United States.

There is only one workable solution: a national single-payer system. The people know this and demand it, but since the powers-that-be are so resolutely aligned against the imperatives of democracy, ethics and common sense, the only crumb left for taxpayers and citizens is a state option.

Anything less is a total sell-out to the influence of insurance corporations and a greed-driven health-care delivery system.
