Pittsburgh airport plans new ad campaign
CLEVELAND — Northeast Ohio travelers can expect to hear more about Pittsburgh’s airport, through a new campaign pitching it as the region’s only provider of nonstop service to Europe.
The marketing effort is set to launch within weeks and comes on the heels of Continental Airlines’ recent decision to discontinue direct summer service between Cleveland and London.
The county officials overseeing Pittsburgh International Airport say the two-hour drive there for a nonstop flight to Paris would spare a Cleveland traveler from a layover in New York and the possibility of missing a connection.

Ram Heavy Duty pickup chosen Truck of the Year
DALLAS — Motor Trend named the burly 2010 Ram Heavy Duty pickup as its Truck of the Year on Thursday, announcing the award in Grapevine, Texas, in the heart of truck country.
Earlier this year, the Texas Auto Writers Association selected the Ram for its “Best Heavy Duty Pickup” award.
The Ram, previously known as the Dodge Ram, was extensively redesigned for 2010, getting an even larger big-rig face and snarl. Ram, incidentally, became a stand-alone brand in Chrysler’s recent restructuring and is technically no longer a Dodge Ram, though it still carries Dodge badging.
