ASSOCIATIONS

• Alzheimer’s Association Caregiver Support Group will meet at 1:30 a.m. Thursday at 3695 Boardman-Canfield Road, Suite 301-B. AUXILIARIES

• Ladies Auxiliary to the VFW Post 3538, Struthers, will have its December meeting and Christmas party on Monday at the post home, 157 Lowellville Road. Dinner will begin at 5:30 followed by a short meeting. Members will be addressing Christmas cards to send to military personnel who will not be home for the holidays. Take a place setting and a covered dish, salad or dessert. Dues must be paid by Tuesday to quality for cancer insurance.

• UPMC Horizon will introduce a cancer support group at its Shenango Valley campus with a Christmas party from 1-2:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Outpatient Oncology Department. The support group is open to all cancer patients. Subsequent meetings will take place from 1-2:30 p.m. the third Tuesday of each month in Conference Room 1 at the Shenango Valley campus. UPMC Horizon also offers a cancer support group at its Greenville Campus, which meets at 1 p.m. the second Tuesday of each month.
