Children's Center for Science & Technology gets foundation funds

YOUNGSTOWN —The Children’s Center for Science & Technology, previously the Children’s Museum of the Valley, has been awarded $15,000 from the Frank & Pearl Gelbman Foundation of the Huntington Private Financial Group, and $30,000 from The Youngstown Foundation, $28,000 from the Mahoning Valley Sports Charities and $2,000 from The Youngstown Foundation unrestricted funds.

These grants will support the efforts of the Children’s Center for Science & Technology as it fulfills its mission to foster independent thinking and enrich the lives of all children.
