Eastern Gateway Community College campus coming to Warren

WARREN — The newly formed Eastern Gateway Community College serving the Mahoning Valley will have its main campus in downtown Warren, according to U.S. Rep. Tim Ryan of Niles, D-17th.

Ryan today announced that he and Gov. Ted Strickland believe the location of the main campus here will supplement ongoing development downtown. No details were offered on where it will be located or how it will be financed.

Eastern Gateway opened this fall with no central campus, offering classes at six locations in Mahoning, Trumbull, Columbiana and Jefferson counties.
